Gated Communities have gained in popularity in the larger metropolitan areas in Texas in the last 20 years however, they have been generally uncommon in the Lubbock Area until recently  and they have been gaining in popularity here as well.    Most of the gated communities in Lubbock are in the Northwest Lubbock area, but there are a couple in Southwest Lubbock either in the process of development and one partially gated community that has been around for few years.  The most recent fully gated community in Lubbock is Tuscan Villas which is located west off of about 101st and Indiana.  It recently went to a fully gated community with the gates closing 24/7 during the week but open for a few hours during the weekends.  There is a wonderful Facebook Page on Tuscan Villas that is kept up to date with pictures.   You can also visit Tuscan Villas every weekend from 2-4 at the latest two open houses.  #51 Tuscan Villa Circle and #27 Tuscan Villa Circle. You can also view www.thomahomes.com or call Mike Thoma Construction at  806 535-2084  for additional information about Tuscan Villa Gated community HOA fees  or any additional information you may have questions about.

Attached  is a link to post into your browser about the most common advantages of living in a gated community.   Feel free to visit Tuscan Villas or some of the other gated communities in Lubbock to see if this type of lifestyle might be a good match for you or call me  Leslie Thoma 806 535-8834.
