As you come into the holiday season this year it is important to remember it isn't all about getting but also giving.  As we enter into this joyous time, please consider supporting our local charities.   This weeks focus will be on the Salvation Army's Angel Tree Program.  Children ages birth to 12 years of age, across the South Plains have been nominated.  It can be tough for some parents to be able to provide their children with Christmas toys as well as just  the basics such as clothes and shoes.  For some children these gifts will be the only gifts that they receive.  Every child deserves to have a little happiness this Christmas season, why not be a blessing to one of them .  Please contact the Salvation Army to see how you can sponsor one of these precious angels on the tree.   The Salvation Army is located at 111 16th St here in Lubbock.

Hebrews 13:16    Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.
